aco

Aco plays his synths the way his god intended; with two fingers and intensity. The famous Moog ladder filter got his trousers rumbling a few years ago, and he hasn't stopped shaking and creating ever since. Current arsenal breaking the bank include: Moog Voyager & Sub Phatty, Prophet 6, Hydrasynth, Korg Prologue, and Jupiter X. Strymon pedals add flavour and Keystep Pro brings the brains. Onwards and upwards to the stratosphere!

chirpy

Chirpy doesn't make sound waves but rides them. His tech persona is defined by what he is not rather than what he is. He doesn't know the origins of his e-kit nor the brand. It may have come from the TV Crateris (HD 98800) star system 150 light years away (this value claims to be high in error, much like Chirpy's gear). If he can hit something he will, but prefers limiting his options to non-sentient objects. His time signature is simple -  don't count things or they'll  end up in confusing fractions. Hence chirpy's reliance on his tech mates who know better.

djkl

djkl is a mid-range model, although his design specs are based on an ambient automaton from the 19th century. Due to the installation of the Deep Listening module in his audio circuitry he specialises in creating extended soundscapes and eternal drones. Since his first programmed task was to be DJ in a Robodiscotheque, djkl is still most suited to manipulating vinyl on Technics decks; however, he has now extended his capabilities into wrangling analogue hardware of all types. His battery-recharge-sleep-pod is now home to a number of Roland units such as the SH-101, the SH-3A, the TR-808, and the System-1.

natty

Natty is a very simple robot. His software is dominated by The Single Directive:
IF: THEN: UNTIL*
*IF (Synth Riff is Phat), THEN (Repeat Phat Bass Riff), UNTIL (Entities are Grooving).
His hardware consists of a Moog Slim Phatty and a pair of Korg Mini 700’s from 1973.
This network of technological components allows for the realisation of The Single Directive.
REPEAT.

sbob

Sbob is exclusively a synth presets robot. Having missed the Gary Numan upgrade on the production line he wouldn’t know an oscillator from a filter. Sometimes in moments of over confidence he moves the dials thinking things might sound better. They never do. His preferred synths are the CS-80, Prophet V, OBX, and the Mini V. In an attempt to be more human, he sometimes strums a Gibson Vintage Hummingbird and plugs an American Standard Tele into a Fender Princeton.
